The beginning of my project was the reinterpretation of an Étagère. Porcelain and concrete are two materials rich in contrasts, whose advantages are symbolized by the Bétonère. Small delicacies are attractively presented and enliven the static construction. The porcelain reveals its stability through projecting compartments, filigree and elegant. The harmless food suitability optimizes the product for the gastronomic context as well. By precise additions to indentations in the porcelain, several delicacies find a suitable place. The own weight of the concrete holds the elements reliably together. Supplemented by the natural material cork, a pleasant encounter of the materials is ensured and an aesthetic eye-catcher is arranged. A modular system offers the user a wide range of compositions, which can be expanded as desired.
